Sammy Miller Norton Natter and Nosh
Well it looks like this is the only event that we will do as a Club this year and typically it rains for the first time in months. We did brave the weather and had 12 Norton’s on display. We all meet up at Burley and had a damp ride through the New Forest to get to Sammy’s museum at Bashley.
Surprisingly the roads were very quiet, not many holiday makers about. A few more of our members turned up by other modes of transport and other makes of motorcycle to help swell our numbers to about 20. There were a couple other Norton’s turn up but overall, it was a very quiet day due to the weather. Luckily the café was open serving bacon butties and hot tea. The staff at the museum were very great full that we turned up. Sammy invited us all into the workshop and gave a chat on all the ongoing projects.
Once we got to lunchtime the huge crowds started to thin out so and the remaining few of us kitted up and made our way home through the rain once more. As usual one we arrived home the sun came out.
Finally, we would like to thanks everyone who turned up for supporting us and proving what a great Club, we have!
